I have been teaching clarinet and piano since 2019. For each student, I focus on developing healthy practice habits (physically mentally) that allow them to be efficient and rewarded by their time spent with the instrument. I help students build a strong foundation of fundamentals so they are able to be successful working on more advanced literature. My teaching philosophy revolved around the idea that music should be fun and engaging. While many teachers start their students off by learning how to read music, I like to begin with actually playing and familiarizing yourself with the instrument and later translating that information to written music notation. In your first lesson, we will play the instrument and learn a simple tune based on your skill level.
