Nothing is more rewarding for me than seeing my students develop a passion for music. I expect my students to have a willingness to learn and an open mind and heart for trying new things, and experimenting with and discovering new sounds. MOST OF ALL! Have fun with this! I'm trying to put each student in touch with their inner creative. Everyone learns at a different pace and my approach is to teach something to mastery level rather than fill a quota. Inspiration and the joy of playing is first and foremost with my approach. By breaking difficult passages down into digestable pieces and making attainable goals, I find this keeps the student interested and builds confidence to overcome weaknesses. Read More

Once they have progressed and picked up the fundamentals from these lessons I like to move on to Hal Leonard's Giant Book of Children's Vocal Solos.
