Our music lesson students will have the opportunity to take lessons from the comfort of their own home or in one of the teachers studios. Careful attention is placed on each student to ensure a custom lesson plan. Our music teachers understand that every student has different needs and abilities and therefore the lessons will be planned with that knowledge in mind.

I believe that music students are not "one size fits all", so I create an individual approach catered to each student's strengths, weaknesses, and interests. For beginners, I typically start with the very basics such as putting the instrument together(if applicable), posture/form, and fingerings. I am a relatively new teacher! I've been a musician all my life, but only recently started teaching children and young adults how to play instruments or how to collaborate musically. I have found that teaching is an important part of being a musician, and I'm very excited to find new students. I graduated with my Bachelors of Music from Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, NC. I am currently finishing his Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from Lenoir-Rhyne as well. While at Lenoir-Rhyne I was involved in a various amount of ensembles, including the newly reformed Spirit of LR Marching Band where I was the Head Drum Major for three years.
