I have taught for over twenty years to all ages and levels. I teach the fun way by teaching the student what they would like to know by tailoring each lesson to fit there personal goals, needs and questions. I've taught all genres and also teach special needs including autistic, handicapped, and blind. As well I've also taught a couple grammy winning musicians. I started playing music and specifically the saxophone in the fourth grade. I played all throughout middle school and high school. Outside of school, I took classes at the Brooklyn Conservatory of Music and was a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra. I started playing the bass guitar my junior year in high school. I always used to hear music in the house growing up but I first became interested in music when I was around the age of five and heard Take Five by Paul Desmond playing on the radio in the car. I'm a passionate instructor and I love teaching music in every one of his aspects. In 2011 I graduated from Music Conservatory "Luca Marenzio" with a Degree Classical Saxophone Performance. In Europe I had the opportunity of playing as a Alto Saxophone Soloist in the European Youth Orchestra in Germany and Turkey. In 2014 I graduated from Berklee College of Music with a Diploma in Jazz Composition. My approach to learning an instruments is to have the students learn to play by ear first before they can start learning to read music. I find that most students are able to progress quickly because it frees them to focus on the playing the instruments rather than reading notes.
