I am passionate about music, and I work to perfect my technique, striving to bring out the composers intentions in whatever piece I perform. Fundamentally, my interpretations stem from my lifes experiences: from the difficulties of becoming a classical musician to leaving my family in Armenia for Germany in order to pursue my passion for piano. My style of teaching is different for each student. After meeting the student, I suggest setting a goal, working towards that goal for 4 -6 weeks - after which an assessment is made by me to determine how best to continue. For the younger student I often demonstrate, or play with them. Encouraging recital participation, finding the right performance piece helps me determine what inspires the student, young or old. I was 4 years old when I found my passion for playing the piano. I was taught classically through MacPhail Center For Music and attended examinations yearly through The Royal Conservatory of Music. As I grew older, I taught friends and neighborhood kids how to play the piano and found a passion for teaching and watching people learn.
