In 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Performance-Instrumental (flute) and in 2013 I graduated with a Master's degree in Music Education, both from Pensacola Christian College. I was involved in the Pensacola Christian College Symohony  (PCCymphony) for 5 years and held the position of Principal Flute for 2 years. I played in the PCC band for 6 years. I was also involved in the Woodwind Ensemble. I have played the flute for 16 years and the piccolo for 10 years. I played in Rejoice Orchestra for Campus Church at Pensacola Christian College for the televised broadcast of Rejoice TV and was a session player for Rejoice in the Lord recording studio. I also have the experience of putting together my own recitals.

I am a long time educator, mother, and musician. In my list of favorite things is leading children to their first independant music-making experiences. My background in music includes choir, band, marching band, drum corps, and directing numerous performing groups. I have performed with groups all over the country for audiences big and small. Most often nowadays, you can find me playing the piano and singing at home for fun.

I will have a Doctor of Arts degree in Piano Performance from the University of Northern Colorado in 2017.  I am originally from Mississippi and studied engineering before pursuing music as a career.  In 2009 I fulfilled my dream of visiting Europe by spending the summer in Salzburg, Austria and accompanied singers there as well.  I enjoy living in Colorado and like to bike and play disc golf when the time allows.

Hi, I am a passionate instructor that plays guitar, piano, sings, and composes. In 2015, I received my Bachelor's of Music degree in Jazz Guitar Performance. In and out of school have performed in big bands, jazz combos, guitar ensembles, vocal jazz ensembles, and musicals. In addition, I have performed, recorded, and toured with an indie rock band for over 10 years. My varied experience enables me to help students with self-expression as well as technique and theory.

Instruments:

I'm a progressive and dedicated instructor who loves to share his personal experience with traditional and non-traditional music.  While in college I had the opportunity to sing in several different choral settings (chamber, mixed, men's, small group acapella men's, quartets) working with many different styles and eras of musical composition and arrangement.  My senior year also included the opportunity of a tour in South Korea exploring their awesom choral traditions.  Aside from vocal music, I also played in the wind ensemble on trumpet and had my own funk outfit outside of classes to fullfill my own creative direction.  After graduating in the Winter of '11 I moved to Colorado to find a better audience for the funk, jazz and fusion music that I have personally gravitated towards.  I've played most of the major venues in Denver, Boulder and the Front Range opening for giants like Victor Wooten and John Medeski, and currently am pursuing my Masters this upcoming Fall for Jazz Composition.

We've only had a few lessons with Elisa, but so far we really like her. She has a lot of great suggestions for solo pieces as well as orchestral music that involves all 3 of my boys, while also including some Christian music that we can play at church. She is very patient in explaining the lessons and encouraging!

I am a beginning guitar player that has now taken five lessons with Jeff. I cannot speak highly enough of Jeff has a guitar teacher! I have learned more in five lessons than the months I spent trying to learn on my own. Jeff has introduced me to music apps that I can use during my practice sessions, followed up our lessons with comments and/or music, is very encouraging - yet holds high standards. During my lessons I feel that Jeff is very observant and tuned in to your positioning when playing - whether it be your wrist, your arm, or your fingers. He always offers recommendations on ways to try to fix something that I might be struggling with. He really pays attention. As an aside, Jeff is a very talented songwriter and musician. Check him out on YouTube. His songs are very beautiful and inspirational. I'm honored to be his student! - Linda

Usually I don't write reviews. I am compelled to write for Feng. I've experience finding/working with many music teachers over the years for different instruments (piano, flute, sax) for kids. I think Feng is the best, he is so passionate about music, he encourages the kids. He teaches thoroughly - you can tell he knows lot about saxophone. I would definitely recommend Feng!!

Dave is a fantastic teacher. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to students that I think is invaluable. At the same time, this does not limit him from working with beginning students. He is very communicative with the parents as far as schedule changes. We are so grateful to have found him!!

Dr. Nedra C is incredible. She knows her craft in and out, it truly shows in her teaching. As well, she cares a great deal about the student, and preps plenty of material outside of the lesson for those that she teaches. I've had many different music teachers and am aware who's talented and cares, and who isn't. Dr. Nedra C is true phenomenal, and any student would be lucky to have her.

I was skeptical at first not knowing what I was getting my self into.. I am very happy that I forced myself to get into voice lessons because Eli is an awsome voice coach.. Very skillful and he helps you reach the goal you are trying to reach.. He is also very helpful with getting you to open up and come out of your shell and being heard.. I would and I already have recommended friends and family to sign up with Eli if they're serious about singing..

David is not only a great musician and educator but also a delightful human. We began using David six years ago as a piano teacher for my two boys. Since then my eldest moved on to acoustic and electric guitar and my youngest electric and stand up bass. Somewhere along the way I began to take guitar lessons also (I was David's most bearded student at age 48). David always came prepared to lead but also to follow, he often asked what we were listening to and taught us how to play it. His ability to listen to a piece of music and transcribe it always left me amazed, we have several notebooks full of songs we learned individually or played as a group. After a shoulder injury David continued to impress by teaching me music theory instead of our usual lesson. I could go on forever, David made a positive impact on my family and feel fortunate to have met him.

This is the 1st time I've ever taken lessons, and Robert has been a pleasure to work with. I've made quick progress and have enjoyed the process. I'm always listening for those tips that you can't find in a book. I can count on Robert to be strict on the fundamentals and am clear it will make a difference in the long run.

Eduard is an amazing teacher. (Coming from someone who previously knew the basics of playing and music.) He is not to harsh with his words and is extremely nice. Eduard has a great amout of experience and displays it through his teachings. Specifically by making it easy to follow along with his words to actions. As a person with a wondering mind whom is distracted easily, it is easy to pay attention.

It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
