I encourage each student to practice several times a week for as long as they can. I find that some students like to practice in one sitting, whereas others prefer to practice for 10-15 minutes before taking a break and then returning. I am comfortable teaching students of all levels and ages, no one is ever too young or too old to learn an instrument in my opinion.
