For beginning students who are children, I typically start with Hal Leonard's Essential Elements for violin students and piano adventures for piano students. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. In 2016, I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts degree in Clarinet Performance at Morehead State University, and in April 2018 I graduated with my Master of Music degree at the Cincinnati-Conservatory of Music.
