My thirty years piano teaching experience began in Eagle Pass , Texas when my own piano teacher encouraged me to begin teaching my own students. I actually began my teaching experience by helping out my piano teacher's students' with their piano practice. By that time I had performed in piano recitals , played in the National Guild of Piano Teacher Auditions, and attended piano workshops with my piano teacher. For violin I usually use Suzuki Method and will introduce etudes like Wohlfahrt or Kreutzer. I also have fun with Christmas music, pop and fiddle. If they are young children aged 4-6, I will use the "I Can Read Music" by Joanne Martin. For guitar I use a variety of different classical method and etude books.
