An emphasis on my part is exposing the student to material of the highest quality. This will often mean the exposure to some of the simpler classical pieces written by the great composers fairly early in their musical journey. My teaching experience dates back to my high school years. My piano instructor at the time appreciated my gifts and allowed me to assist with teaching beginner students. I continued to teach throughout my college years and still enjoy teaching today. I encourage regular practice and a consistent schedule. I find that consistency helps with progress and with the development of a passion for making music. I teach my  students with Alfred's, Bastian and other diffirent  methods. My beginning students lerning two books together. With lesson book kids learning music terms and how to play piano. With Theory book we are drawning notes, do excircise and play games. My intermediate level students can pick a song they would like to lern.
