After a few weeks of methods that I taught him and, exercises he was able to play the guitar without frustration. It is important for me to understand what the student does not understand. The only help I may ask for is to make sure that practice does happen. I seldom ever say that practice should be timed, i.e. sit at the piano for 30 minutes no matter what. Instead, I assign a particlar song a certain number of times.
