I am a Detroit-native international multi-genre musician, vocalist, producer, composer, arranger, orchestrator, writer (librettist, lyricist), and show programmer. I also am a proud graduate of Grand Valley State University (GVSU) having obtained a B.S. in Art Politics with a focus on Curriculum Ethos. I excel at taking the most self-motivated students to the highest level, and I don't hold anyone back in order to stay with a pre-determined method. All students learn to count the beat in a FUN and entertaining way. I save the last few minutes of every lesson for "musical games", which are usually ear training. I have been teaching private lessons for five years now to students aged 8-18. I have also taught general music classes to 3 month-two year olds in an early childhood music class. My students have excelled through solos, ensembles, festivals, etc. I believe in consistency of instruction and positive reinforcement and criticism.
