I have also participated in WGI and DCI ensembles as a mallet or Synth or keyboard player. I studied classical voice for two years with Mark Baker former tenor for the Met Opera house. My teaching experience started early on as a recognized multi instrumentalist even by my friends , I was able to teach them and put musical groups together or join existing ones. Playing various instruments in several different bands at the same time was a challenge but lots of fun, and has continued as of recently. In 2011 I performed with the string orchestra as part of the 50/20 celebration in the British Embassy of Kuwait for the VIP guests, including Prince Charles Attendance (2011). I performed in the following school productions: ”The Phantom of the Opera” (2009) ,’’My Fair Lady’’(2010),” Blood Brothers” (2011), ’’Evita’’(2012),’’Jack and the Beanstalk’’ (2013),’’The Lion King’’ (2014). In conjunction with this series,I will supplement with other pieces that I feel will inspire and challenge them. if the student requests a certain piece or style of piece they would like to work on, I definitely make sure to grant it to them.
