I realize that not everyone can is able or willing to practice six hours a day, so I work with each student individually to find their pace. I am happy teaching both competitive students (I have had several students participate successfully in the ABRSM exams) and students who play purely for enjoyment. I choose a teaching method that is geared toward the student's learning style and personality - and especially age. There's nothing worse than using a method for children with a teen or adult!
