I studied electric bass at Berklee College of Music and have spent the last 15 years touring the world with various groups and working as a studio musician. I find that if students can get down a sense of rhythm everything than falls into place which is where the meternome comes in. Once students begin to understand how to read and play, I start to introduce the next level of material for them.
