During my college career, I built up a studio of nearly 20 students, tutored college-level piano courses, and worked as a Teacher's Assistant in Sight Singing and Aural Training. Since then, I taught for two years at a Summer Music Conservatory in Texas, led week-long keyboard intensive seminars throughout Western Kenya, and most recently, taught at the nation's largest piano conservatory. My teaching style includes using multisensory techniques that get the students reading music, listening to music, playing music, and more. I have discovered over many years of teaching that there are many different styles of learning different concepts. What may click for a student in one part of a lesson visually may not click aurally.
