I make sure my students learn the scales; which are very important. I also use the Hanon book for exercises when my students begin to advance to a higher level of understanding. In 2018, I graduated with B.A. in Saxophone Performance with an emphasis in Jazz Studies at California State University, Long Beach. I am currently attending Manhattan School of Music for a Masters degree in Jazz Composition. I also want to see students gain confidence and believe that they can perform in public and accomplish their singing goals.
