While maintaining her busy performance schedule, she teaches privately in the area. Her goal is to inspire her students to find the happiness of making music and help them to build up an efficient practice routine. I believe that anyone can learn music and can play piano beautifully! I begin using a method book and branch out into music that they love! My main objective is to find the optimal way to help each student master the material or skills taught. I deeply value understanding student's needs in order to guide them through their challenges accordingly. In addition, I believe that learning music should be engaging and meaningful. I’ve studied solfeggio, Orff Schulwerk, and Dalcroze Eurythmics. Read More

In my studio, I encourage students to look solely at their own track. Everyone's journey is different. We all start lessons at a different age, have different strengths, weaknesses, likes and dislikes! I welcome my students to share what they love...and hate... so I can tailor our time together to fit their specific learning styles. My teaching philosophy includes asking questions and planning activities that enhance cognitive function. I want to give my students the tools they need so they can look at a piece of music and say, "I know how to practice this," or "I can play this." If my students don't need me anymore, I have done my job! Read More
