My first teaching experiences were with my father during solo and ensemble. Having hired me as an accompanist for his students, I found myself rehearsing these students moreso than accompanying them. From that point I felt encouraged to teach and help others perfect their craft. My biggest influences would have to be my past teachers, one of which taught me younger and the other as I matured. Once the student has reached a certain level, they will begin lessons in Piano Literature and John Thompson's Modern Course for the Piano. Hi! My name is Megan, and I have a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance and Choral Conducting from Andrews University. Before that, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Voice Performance from Southern Adventist University. After graduating from Stetson in 2019, I stayed and taught as a Faculty Teacher at the Community School of Music, having more students. During my tenure, I taught students from four to 85 years old.
