I generally choose to use Faber as a method book for all my beginning students, using the age appropriate track for each student ranging from too young to read yet to adult learners. I believe that both the lesson book and the theory books are highly important and necessary. Depending on the student and their wants and needs, other books for each level may be added. I teach different methods of breathing, including low costal breathing and we focus on posture, sound placement, among many other fun skills. I am a passionate musician, educator, conductor, and composer, and I have been happily obsessed with music since I began piano lessons at age 10. I joined the school band program in 6th grade, and since then, I have learned how to play and teach many different instruments.
