My personal style of teaching come from more than 20 years of experience on it. I will taylor a different plain of study for each student, from absolute beginners to the Advanced level. For early childhood i will use the Orff Shulwerk model of musical education , very funny and easy to learn. We will start to write together our own music after the first lesson! I´ll give you the tools to advance at your own rhythm, making consistence progress, exploring the music you like. We will practice long note exercises to develop sound and pitch, play scales in many different ways and connect them in different chord progressions, play tunes at your level capacity, transcribe, analyze and play solos of the masters (Parker, Coltrane, etc.), and create your own solos and language. The best award for the teacher is seeing his student develops his own talent. And I'm sure that every one is talented and the only question is how it talent will be enriched and developed. I encourage my student being their true self in performing, feeding from traditional and modern sources but keeping his own unique voice or playing style, accomplishing his personal goals, without comparing his own dynamics and results with other people, but working on becoming better than himself every day of learning.
