Before I start working with any client, I find out exactly why they've sought out vocal lessons and what their goals are. Then It all starts with breathing. The student will learn how to properly excersize the correct muscles when singing, and then will vocalize with the piano. We must start with pitch! Then there will be songs to learn that both the student suggest and I pick, based on what I think will help their development most. Read More

I am pretty new at teaching the violin. I have been playing for eleven years and for most of that time I have been taking private lessons. I teach classical technique that can be applied to any type or genreof music. I usually start with standard singing and breathing techniques. Then I will listen to a student's voice and determine their range and pick out a solo song based on their range, ability level, and the preferences of the student. I am a firm believer that no student fits into the standard "box" of teaching. Therefore, I tailor my teaching style to match the individualneeds, issues, and goalsof a particular student. Read More

I love watching my students develop their passion for music! And so, I do my utmost to challenge each student as much as possible at their own pace. We will set goals for the students in every lesson. Hitting certain milestones help the students to feel motivated, and want to push themselves more.
