After his discharge in 1995, Matt moved to Akron, OH and began the real business of paying his dues in original bands, clubs, wedding bands, theaters, demo sessions, and countless one nighters. I began teaching private French horn students in 2011, and I have been teaching music in various ways since then. I have been both a general music and a band teacher, working with students in Preschool through Eighth Grade. With my private students I emphasize regular practice as the best way to improve and keep having fun with an instrument.
