Overview:

I am Andrea, and I am a professional singer and voice teacher from Italy! I have years of experience teaching students of any level, from begineer to advanced. I am an opera singer, butI have studied in depth any musical genres: pop, soul, jazz, musical theater! I love to provide each student with the instruction that best fits their goals and need! Regarding my methodology, I always adapt my classical vocal technique to the needs and the musical tastes of the students. My main goal is to help students achieving their goals, whatever they are!

EXPERIENCE

My teaching experience dates back to my college days in Italy, as I began teaching private lessons part time 6 years ago, and have been consistently teaching students in my home studio for the last 4 years. Although I come from the classical environment, I've found that a combination of classical and modern music can go a long way in helping students enjoy the singing and motivate them to practice and continue to learn. I love to provide each student with the instruction that best fits their goals and need!

METHODS USED

I love to provide each student with the instruction that best fits their goals and need! Regarding my methodology, I always adapt my classical vocal technique to the needs and the musical tastes of the students. My main goal is to help students achieving their goals, whatever they are! For beginning students who are children, I typically start with easy technical exercises. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce some solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.

LESSON STYLE

Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. Acknowledging accomplishments helps fuel a students desire to progress, and makes students eager to learn more. By trying to find out what inspires the student, I can successfully tailor my instruction to their wants and needs. I love to provide each student with the instruction that best fits their goals and need!
