I will help young students learn the basics of drumming from rudiments, technique, and sight-reading. For more advanced students I am able to guide them into more complex topics such as musical creativity, feel, and improvisation. I have also performed in venues and companies all over the world: Thailand, Hawaii, Italy, and Austria. I have performed in all kinds of groups including jazz bands, wind ensembles, latin groups, and even choirs. I grew up in Cozad, Nebraska which is a small town, but I was influenced by so many kinds of music given this age of technology. In college, I was a lead trumpet player for the UNL Cornhusker Marching Band.
