Depending on the natural strengths of the student, we may start with music fundamentals or jump right into violin setup and technique. I typically pair the books with exercises of my own invention meant to isolate the technique at hand for that lesson. I am from a traditional classical singing background. I use vocal exercises to not only strenghen the voice but to build a strong singing foundation. Hopefully, by the end of the lessons there will be no need for a microphone. For young singers we will focus on classic tradional basic song literature as well as have fun with popular music. Adults can bet that I will help them fine tune and build a sound and secure vocal technique for what ever repertoire they are needing guidance on. Read More
