Drumming was used as a communication tool to convey messages from the traditional chief or rulers to the ordinary cities or residents of most of the west african countries of which Ghana is an example of those countries, so it may depend on which style of music the student is interested in. My name is Jenna G and I am currently a senior at Texas AM University (Whoop!). Music has been an important part of my life since I started playing piano in 2005. Clarinet became my primary instrument when I started band in middle school, and since then I have had incredible experiences both in teaching music and with performing.
