Although while at SMU my focus was mainly on orchestral playing and classical techniques, I am equally comfortable playing jazz and commercial styles, and honestly probably play those styles just as much as I do orchestral work now. I started playing violin at the age of 4, and started teaching at 17. In 2003, I started playing viola, and in 2005, I started learning cello. In 2010, I graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Music degree with electives in Psychology. My teaching philosophy emphasizes and promotes that the student has fun and develops a love for music and the instrument that they play. The way that I do this is by placing an emphasis on music the student enjoys, and by giving the student a fair amount of autonomy in choosing their repertoire they would like to learn. I began teaching while I was still a student at the Conservatory of Music in the 1990's I was Voice Teacher at the Intermezzo Music School in Guaynabo, PR. I taught all ages from 7 - 69. I stayed there for 7 years. I also gave private singing lessons to students at my own home in Carolina, PR. And then, I proceded to give voice lessons at different churches like the Methodist Church (where I also founded and directed the choir), Evangelical Church (where I gave voice lessons at the Biblical Institute to prospect Worship Leaders).
