I played keyboard on the worship team for several years and some youth students showed interest so I would teach them every now and then. My teaching style is just like most I think. I don't rush with the students. Always trying to go slow and make sure the students understands everything. I've gotten pretty good at figuring out when the students get what I'm trying to teach. If I feel like I'm going to fast I'll stop think about what I'm doing and slow down. After working with them, I began working with the Baton Rouge Arts Council, bringing music and music appreciation to elementary school class rooms for children and schools that did not have a music teacher, on staff.
