I continued to study classical violin until about 16, when I became highly involved in choir and theater. I was selected for the Texas All State Mixed Chorus three years in a row. I also sang professionally for St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Houston for three years. This book teaches the most basic fundamentals all the way through advanced techniques while also giving the student a chance to learn more about music as a whole.
