I participated in the Cleveland Youth Wind Symphony and the Akron Youth Symphony, so I am familiar with opportunities that are in the area and know how to prepare students for these types of elite ensembles. As the student progresses with either instrument, I try to encourage them to continue with scales and to move up in their playing abilities and music reading.
