The two rules I follow for teaching any student is that 1: Everyone goes at their own pace, and 2: Everyone learns differently. That goes for all my students, regardless of instrument. If a student is having trouble grasping what Im saying/demonstrating, well keep going over it until they understand. Maybe a topic has to be approached differently for someone; I can do that. Also chord books, books on scales, jazz methods, fake books, classical books and such. I like to teach my own style,being creative and going beyond basics. I'm passionate about teaching others to love music. It is one of my greatest pleasures. I have been performing and teaching since I was a teen. I have performed both classical and original music and am currently working on a rock album writing piano and orchestra for about 12 songs. We have a Grammy-nominated producer in Denmark producing our album.
