My teaching experience started while I was attending high school. I began working at local band camps over the summer during my senior year and I found the experience to be cathartic and extremely rewarding. At the beginning of my college career, I started working with several band programs as an instructor and private lesson teacher. I have been actively teaching students of all ages since 2007. In my lessons, I push a strong routine of consistent practice to help improve endurance and stamina. I have helped students prepare for performances in Cincinnati and Japan, scholarship auditions, and begin the flute from scratch.
