When students have successfully completed the Suzuki books, I will introduce them to pieces that would be suitable for a recital performance. For adults, I will base instruction off of Suzuki but also find material that will keep the learning process fun and enjoyable. We first begin with an introduction song chosen by the student, this helps me understand their current ability and what the student needs to work on. From there we move on to learning music theory, Open throat technique as well as specific techniques involving the students preferred Genre.
