If you don't know how to read music we can focus part of the lesson on music theory and the rest on learning from recordings and playing by ear. I earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2008 and 2009 in Euphonium Performance and Music Education from the University of North Texas while studying with the renowned Dr. Brian Bowman. While there, I advanced to the final round of a United States Navy Band audition. From 2010-2019, I served as a band director in three different school districts in Texas; now I teach private lessons full-time in the North Dallas area. I strived to ensure to meet and exceed the expectations of a clarinetist in middle school in high school. I furthered my career by auditioning for and making Marines as a clarinetist.
