Most of my responsibility was reinforcing the lessons and practicing alongside individual students who were struggling. While attending high school, I was the only guitarist for the school band and got requests for private lessons from my peers, which I gladly accepted. This book teaches the most basic fundamentals all the way through advanced techniques while also giving the student a chance to learn more about music as a whole. For brass instrumental students, I generally use the Rubank Method books, focusing on care of the instrument and basic fundamentals. For piano students I use a variety of different method books and am not tied down to any one series. We will also work on scales and the Hannon series For vocal students, I use a series of vocalises, scales and other exercises to strengthen the voice.
