To that end, I may have the student come up with a hook, write a poem, or even an idea for a song about something that is meaningful to them. Jill has been teaching children and adults for 20 years. I studied voice and piano and performed at various venues. Now, I focus more on teaching piano and voice. We work on technique, performance, note reading, sight reading, and interpretation. We also work on music theory.
