I have always had a passion for teaching! I come from a family of teachers, and I knew from a young age that I wanted to teach. My senior year of college, I took two semesters of vocal pedagogy and I was instantly hooked. I love the science behind how the voice works, and am fascinated with how that applies to each individual. I graduated in 1994 from New York University with a Bachelor of Music degree from the School of Education - Department of Music and Performing Arts Professions. My decision to pursue a post-graduate degree in this field was based on my desire to continue my artistic development, while taking next steps towards a career in education.
