I enrolled in structured lessons when I was 12 until I went to Berklee College of Music for a year's time. Afterwards I decided that I wanted to dedicate my spare time to music and not make a professional career out of it. I have played in numerous orchestras, even jazz bands. As well as playing alongside the president's very own Marine Quartet in 2013 and 2014. I have had the chance to take master classes from Professor Susanna Klein at Virginia Commonwealth University and to perform side by side with Mark Wood, his wife and son! I earned valuable skills while touring and teaching and found a niche while working with kids of which helped create my specialized children's teaching curriculum. Whether it's teaching children or adults, beginning classes start with basic snare rudimentary concepts with Stick Control and a Rudiment Dictionary.
