I teach Classically trained Violin, viola, and piano. I am equally comfortable teaching very beginners as well as high school and adult students. I am very honest in my feedback. I like to stick to the former. I strongly believe that a good, strong foundation leads to fewer problems in the future and makes the process of music-making much more enjoyable. Personalizing lesson plans and objectives in this way is extremely empowering to the student and promotes more devotion of time to learning outside of the lessons. I began teaching private lessons about two and a half years ago, in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. I had students there that ranged in age from five to fifty, and it was such a joy to watch them grow! I am comfortable teaching students of all levels and ages, no one is ever too young or too old to learn an instrument in my opinion.
