In 2019, I graduated from Temple University with a B.M. in Music Therapy/Cello where I studied both classical and jazz music. Every drum student is different so I customize each lesson to fit the particular students needs and goals. I always start out with fundamentals and rudiments on the snare drum, Focusing on stick position posture and proper technique. Once these basics are established we move onto a basic drum set method book covering notation, basic drumbeats and drum fills. Continuously intrigued by the music world I decided to start studying music more formally at The Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in Bethlehem, PA. Once the student has progressed to have a grasp of the fundamentals, I will begin to introduce solo repertoire appropriate for their first recital performance. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested in, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level.
