Because of this, most of my curriculum is based around music of the students choosing, so they keep engaged and wanting to keep learning. In working with these students I found out that above all else the true driver in a student’s success is their passion and excitement level. While at the University of Denver, I greatly enjoyed teaching non-major voice lessons through the University. Teaching for two years at the university level gave me a chance to develop a curriculum and method which is adaptable to students of all experience levels.
