I received a Master’s degree in Music from the Boyer College of Music in Philadelphia, PA in 2015 for Vocal Performance. Before that, I graduated from the National Music Academy of Ukraine named after P.I. Tchaikovsky in Kiev in 2013, where I received a Bachelor in Music, took parts in a lot of operas ("Le nozze di Figaro", "Eugene Onegin", "Faust") and also earned a certificate of teaching. Later my first formal teaching job took place in Musicians Institute as Teacher's Assistant. I've been a member of the Los Angeles City College advisory board in 1999 and I've thought as a full time teacher at Istanbul Bilgi University Music Department from 2000 to 2008. I personally have had teachers that focused too much on technical studies and theory, and not enough time on incorporating those skills into performance; which is the main reason why many people have a desire to learn a musical instrument.
