While I was in school I had a graduate assistantship and taught voice elective students and musical theatre freshmen. I also had my own private studio while I was in school. Nothing is more rewarding than seeing one of my students develop a passion for music! I try to meet my students at the crossover of challenging while keep them engaged and having fun. Therefore, it's important that each student progresses at his or her own pace. I encourage this by setting realistic goals for my students at each lesson. I have been playing clarinet for 12 years and very passionate and motivated by music. I love working and sharing my knowledge with students. I have graduated from Florida State University with a Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance May 2020. I have performed in Mexico, Belgium, and around the United States. I encourage regular practice, as students who feel they are progressing and doing well tend to enjoy their instrument more.
