My approach is for you to experience playing music as something enjoyable, something you like, and that you look forward to learning more about. Teaching and learning music is fun for me so I try to balance the fun with learning the basics! I'm a performing bassist and music educator with a strong background in jazz and classical music. I love to share my love of music with students and help them discover their own unique path. In 2022, I graduated from the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Performance after receiving the Jimmy Lyons full tuition scholarship. I've had the opportunity to study and play with great jazz musicians such as John Patitucci, Linda May Han Oh, Joe Lovano, and Danilo Perez, as well as perform at venues throughout Boston and the US such as Wallys Jazz Cafe, The Lilypad, Berklee Performance Center, Monterey Jazz Festival, and Dazzle Jazz Club.
