I also teach hour-long group vocal classes seasonally. On average, I teach around 30 lessons a week, mostly 30/45 minute sessions, and several hour long sessions in addition to my group classes. The majority of my instruction takes place over FaceTime/Zoom, or in the student’s home. I just recently moved back to my home of Colorado from New York City. Learning the students interests in music is an important part of the first steps no matter how advanced they are. This will give the student and I an accurate gauge of how and what they want to learn.
