For a beggining student the main focus is to have an enjoyable experience whilst acheiving the fundamental elements required to play the guitar. By focussing on the music they enjoy incorporated with some of the techniques required to play the instrument their growth becomes apparent quickly. As they progress on the instrument we start to dig deeper into the techniques and theory behind the music they love whilst introducing them to new things. Read More

I believe that every student learns differently in their own way because no one is born the same so I base my teaching methods off that. Every lesson plan is based off key points that the student is trying to achieve and every week pushing their limits little by little so they’re always improving gradually. What’s the student feels comfortable where they’re at I begin diving into deeper subjects and more advanced techniques. Read More

I started teaching guitar by making videos early 2021 and then I started teaching classes on takelessons.com. I have been teaching classes and students ever since then. I created a guitar course with takelessons.com and you can see it on takelessons live. I also made a practice guitar course onthinkific.com on guitar chords and guitar chord theory. I enjoy helping students learn how to play guitar or bass guitar. Read More

I continued on to practice regardless, but it was out of duty and not out of passion. Knowing those feelings and where they come from is key for a music educator, because it is important to know strategies to avoid replicating those situations in your own students. I frequently incorporate the student's musical tastes and choices into their lessons. If my student is at an age where they can "jam" with others, we will typically jam together, or if they have friends at a similar age and skill level, I encourage them to have a jam session where I can listen in and participate (and I can spot-check my student for technique and ask critical questions about their performance). I began teaching five years ago around the age of twenty. Now, at twenty-five, I have had the opportunity to teach people from all walks of life, with ages ranging from 6 to 60!  I encourage students to practice "perfect practice", which means they are as relaxed as possible when practicing (mentally and physically). Daily practice is also something I cannot emphasize enough, even if only for five or ten minutes a day. Read More

qualified music teacher with extensive experience as a soloist, Lessons and courses as complete as you go, track your progress and direct your learning paths across Rhythm, Melody, Harmony, Techniques . I have also worked as a band coach, where I taught Students cover songs, helped them write their own songs and prepared them for live performances. Encouraging regular practice on a consistent schedule is one of the key points I like to emphasize for younger students, as it tends to help the student progress and gain a passion for the instrument. I like to start with learning the Pentatonic scale in it's 1st position and show how it can be played in 5 positions based on the components of the scale being built on 5 notes, or intervals. We'll look at the C major/A minor scales on every string to show where all of the natural notes are on the individual strings and then expand upon playing them in modes, and move on to another key to show how these scale patterns are inter related with all 12 keys followed by learning the chord shapes in open and closed positions and how and where to utilize them in songs or in a blues/jazz sensibility. Select all the days/times the student would be available to start lessons. Selecting "3pm - 7pm" means the student can start as early as 3pm or start as late as 7pm. It is important that you select as many days and the widest window of start times for each day as possible. That will help us make a match with one of our teachers.
