Hello, My name is England N. and I am a passionate and a self-motivated Music Teacher who has a joy working with students from all backgrounds. In 2021, I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with my Bachelor's in Music Education (EC-12). While I was there, I performed with the premier ensembles such as the UTA Jazz Orchestra, Wind Symphony, and the UTA Symphony Orchestra. For piano beginning students, I usually start with the Alfred Book series. This is a really fun way for the piano students to grasp the fundamentals and learn how to independently move each finger at different times. As the student progresses, I try to find out what kind of style they enjoy playing and advise which books to purchase next. I try to be sensitive to the needs of the student not just his/her musical needs but his/her academic needs as my ability to continue working with the student depends upon his/her academic success. I will suggest a basic routine at home: Housework, Practice, Study, Leisure, Bedtime.
