My teaching experience dates back to my college days, as I begin teaching private lessons leading flute choirs. I have been consistently teaching students in my home or their homes for the last 6 years. I encourage regular practice as this tends to help the student progress in their instrument talent. I've attempted teaching family members growing up. It wasn't until I changed my major sophomore year of college to music that I gained my teaching experience. I took multiple method classes for woodwind, brass, string, and percussion instruments. I taught general music in a third grade classes for my Elementary Methods course.
