In 2018, I graduated with B.A. in Saxophone Performance with an emphasis in Jazz Studies at California State University, Long Beach. I am a 2009 graduate of Rutgers University with a BA in Music and a 2011 graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University with an MA in Music Education. For adults, I try to find out what the student is interested, and guide my instruction accordingly to keep the lessons engaging and fun, no matter their ability level. It is extremely important to make sure each student has an very strong foundation and is comfortable with the basics of flute playing.
