Students who study with me drive their own education by making choices. You can choose Suzuki or traditional flute lessons. I try to teach things both visually and by ear, so that the student does not feel that they have to wait to play fun music until they are advanced enough. I began playing the saxophone at the same time I took up the piano. I entered my undergraduate program in 1992, majoring in music education with the saxophone and piano as my principle instruments.
